She ran. She ran like she had never run in her life. She could hear her pursuers and knew if she stumbled, paused for even a moment, they would be on her in seconds. A hungry howl went up shortly behind her, but she could not even look to see how close. Coming here was the worst possible mistake of her life. And with the lived she had lived, that said a lot. She had run with the wrong crowd her whole life, gotten in real trouble a few times, did a little prison time, but coming here was by far the one thing she regretted. And I was just starting to turn my life around, but I had to go for one more bit of fun. She thought as she ducked under
You used to mean the world to me,
There was nothing we couldn't share.
but in case you haven't noticed lately,
i no longer care
you used to have me on a pedestal,
and i invisioned you on a grande white mare.
but those were wasted fantasys,
for i no longer care
you treated me like fragial glass,
and i turned on you like a bear.
This was for the best i think,
because i no longer care.
i see you passing bye,
but i no longer stare
i dont look even when i feel your gaze,
as i have told you i no longer care
should the worst occur,
the site of you in a coffin i could not bear.
but the true reason i would not attend.
is becasue onc

Creature of the Night
Creature of the night
I creep in dark,
The light I fear.
I smell blood, a girl is near.
Shall I leave or shall I wait?
Is it my right to decide this human's fate?
With smell so sweet,
And taste so bold.
In my hand their life I hold.
But if I eat, and take my fill,
And feel the ecstasy of the kill.
They will die.
And can I bare the guilt,
Of killing yet another?
Too much blood has already been spilt.
I shall decline,
Until next time.
For life is precious,
And it is not my right to take it away.
Even if I must go with out.
It is not her fault I am dammed to the night.
Or that I must feed or that I fear the light.
All meani
Don't judge me by how I talk,
Judge me by what I say.
Don't judge me by how I dress,
Judge me by why I dress that way.
Don't judge me by what I have to do,
Judge me by what I'd rather be doing.
Don't judge me by my music,
Judge me by how I listen to it.
Don't judge me by what I read,
Judge me by my favorite part.
Don't judge me by what I watch,
Judge me by how I watch it.
Don't judge me by how I walk,
Judge me by were I'm walking to.
Don't judge me by how I write,
Judge me by what I write,
Don't judge me by what I am,
Judge me by who I am...
Better yet, Don't Judge Me!
She looked deep into his eyes and told him she loved him,
that her reason for waking up each moring was him,
that all she ever wanted was to be with him,
that all she would ever need was him,
that she would do any thing for him,
that she couldn't live with out him,
He looked deep into her eyes...called her pathetic, then walked away.
I could never be a singer,
I hate all the lights.
I could never be a sky diver,
Cuz I'm afraid of heights.
I could never be a mechanic,
I don't know enough about cars.
I could never be an astronaut,
But I do love the moon and stars.
I could never be a doctor,
I hate being around the sick.
I could never be an athlete,
I haven't got the kick.
There are so many things I could never be,
What will I do when I grow up?
Well we'll have to wait and see.

i wish i was in wonderland
I wish I was in wonderland,
Jump into there from where I am.
See and unusual caterpillar become a unique butterfly,
And have a song with the flowers as I'm passing by.
Learn to recite, escape a bite,
Cross paths with a white rabbit in his hurried flight.
To meet a Cheshire cat,
And to complement the mad hatter on his intriguing hat.
To play an unusual game of croquet with a short tempered queen,
Were nothing is truly where it seems,
The place that I have been many times in my dreams.
Some times I wish I could drop into wonderland,
I wish I was in wonderland.
I write poems, there for Im EMO,
I wear black, there for Im goth,
I listen to rock, there for Im punk,
I wear make-up, there for Im prep,
I play RPGs there for Im geek,
I am all of these things,
I am none of these things,
According to some that makes me a poser,
According to some that makes me unique,
You wanna know what I think?

What would it be like? by XxDrxOnlinexX, literature

What would it be like?
If wonderland is your imagination,
What would it be like if I went?
Would it take my innocent or my twisted mind?
Or would it mix the two?
Would it be like Alice's?
Would it be the same for you?
Would the Cheshire cat be purple and pink?
Or would it be gray and black as ink?
Would there be a duchess?
Or would there be a queen?
Either way I'm sure nothing would be as it seems.
I guess we'll never know,
Unless we find a way to go.
Until then my question goes unanswered, what would wonderland be like if I went?

I was riding out of Reno on a caffeine swell
Passed the checkered diners and the cheap motels
Left it all behind with a fingered farewell
Pawned what I owned with a soul too broke to sell
Thought it was my last chance, but I never could tell
Fighting through heavy eyes and the Marlboro smell
I thought I saw a pair of signs in a dust-heat spell
Who shouted through the dashboard with a slap-faced yell
We cruise at great speed banking through the breeze past plump clouds
Left the cell phone with the ring tone GPS track back with the crowds
Thinkin' of a place past the rat race, juicy death traps, and the crooked cats
Buy-a this and sell-a that only want umbrella drinks, below big straw hats
Why die with money when you could live sunny, friend take my advice
Hop up on a plane, first class champagne, and join me in paradise

The Three A.M. to Kingston
Whether a boozer, a night hawk, a happy drunk
A sipper, a sinner, a Buddhist monk
In the drizzling dark we'll all just meet
On the three A.M. to Kingston Street
Past stop signs and street lamps
The one ways and on-ramps
Bathed in streaks of the halogen night
Our happy prim party takes flight
We'll laugh, forgetting our indoor voices
Remembering our poor romantic choices
Jack Daniel kisses and puke soaked stalls
Slurred "Iluvyus" and promises to call
We'll play out the almost-fights
"I would'a laid him out with one right"
A lethargic fist swipes the open clear
"If only that asshole where here"
When we pass the dinner we'll gat
